The Northwest Skim Tour was created to help promote and support skimboarding contests in the Pacific Northwest.

The Northwest Skim Tour is the governing body for official skim contests in the Pacific Northwest (Washington and Vancouver, BC). The NWS Tour puts on five official contests each summer and helps promote other skimboarding events in the area.

The board of directors determine which events are official, judging criteria and contest setup. The goal of this organization is to unify skimboarding promoters and companies in the area and create an criteria for other skim contests.

We hope to help raise awareness of skimboarding to the greater Pacific Northwest area and help support skimboarders while helping create more sponsorship opportunities for local contest promoters and sponsors.
